Job Description

This part-time, onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful social work services in a collaborative educational environment, helping young learners thrive both academically and personally.

Skills & Experience Sought:

  • Active Illinois School Social Work License required
  • Previous experience supporting elementary-age students strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of child development, family systems, and classroom dynamics
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with teachers, staff, and families
  • Organized, empathetic, and resourceful approach to managing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing social, emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to support student growth
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create positive learning environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and document progress
  • Connect families with community resources and advocate for student needs
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district protocols

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.00 to $50.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
