Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment – Estes Forwarding Worldwide

- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Maintain accurate records required for on‑time shipment completion.
- Work collaboratively to accomplish assignments.
- Receive inventory and check merchandise quality and accuracy.
- Wrap and pack merchandise efficiently, maintaining pace and accuracy.
- Prepare all merchandise accurately and ready for shipping on time.
- Use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and document reporting.
- Support and promote company core values.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Comply with C‑TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Attention to detail and good follow‑up skills.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
- Ability to write routine business correspondence.
- Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
- Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.
- Good judgment; escalates issues appropriately.
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and WMS.
- Typing skills: quick and accurate.
- Clear and persuasive communication with all organization levels.
- High energy, self‑motivation, and team player.
- Project planning, organization, and multi‑project management.
- High‑stress environment tolerance.
- Preferred experience in freight forwarding or transportation industry.
- Must pass pre‑employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and a criminal history background check.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. EFW will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 0‑2 years of experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered.

Physical DemandsThe employee frequently stands, walks, and reaches. Lifts a minimum of 30 lbs individually and 70 lbs team‑lifting. Exerts maximum force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects repeatedly or continuously over time. Bends, stretches, twists, or reaches. Occasionally climbs or balances. Requires seeing details at close range and at distance.
Work EnvironmentThe employee works in a warehouse exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, extreme cold or heat, and high, precarious places. Noise level is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
