Sit- Down Forklift Operator​/Warehouse Picker

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr

Schedule:

7:30 AM 4:30 AM, Monday Friday & Saturday as needed

Total Staffing (Powered by TTR) is hiring several Sit-Down Forklift Operators / Warehouse Pickers in Joliet, IL! This position involves safely operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse. Associates will also be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, verifying product quantities, organizing inventory, and assisting with general warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Pick, pull, and prepare products according to customer orders and pick tickets.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
• Organize, label, wrap, and stage completed orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks and transport pallets to designated warehouse locations.
• Properly stack, organize, and secure products on pallets.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization.
• Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to track and process orders as needed.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect products.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Meet daily productivity and order accuracy expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned.

• Previous sit-down forklift operating experience required.
• Warehouse picking, order fulfillment, or shipping experience preferred.
• Experience loading, unloading, moving, and staging warehouse materials.
• Ability to accurately pick orders and verify product quantities.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance, teamwork, and strong work ethic required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Resume/Bio required.
• Client interview required.
• Must be available to work Saturdays as needed.
