Industrial Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Joliet, IL. Salary: $19.00 per hour. Shift: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Language:
English/Spanish Preferred. Full-time hours.

We are seeking reliable Warehouse Associates to join a logistics operation in Joliet. This is a hands-on position working with industrial materials that are prepared for rail and flatbed transportation.

Employees will be responsible for securing steel coils and other materials using straps, chains, and fastening equipment to ensure loads are safely prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Secure steel coils and materials onto rail carts and flatbeds
• Use power tools to assist with load securement and material preparation
• Operate tools such as:
  • Nail guns
  • Electric drills
  • Electrical saws
• Apply straps, chains, and tie-downs according to safety standards
• Inspect loads before shipment
• Assist with staging and preparing outbound shipments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• Comfortable using power tools daily
• Ability to work around large steel coils and industrial materials
• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or general labor experience preferred
• Experience using power tools required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• English/Spanish bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

This position focuses on securing large steel coils onto rail cars and flatbeds for transportation. Associates use straps, chains, nail guns, drills, and other power tools to ensure products are properly secured before shipping. The work is active and hands-on but does not involve heavy lifting throughout the day.
