Location:
Central Iowa | Full-Time | $60,000-$75,000
KJC is a growing, dynamic construction company making an impact in the central Iowa market. We're looking for a motivated Field Engineer to join our team and work closely with project managers and superintendents to ensure successful project execution.
What You'll Do:- Support field operations by coordinating materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Assist with layout, measurements, and quality control on-site
- Help maintain project schedules and communicate progress updates
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, and keep accurate documentation
- Attend job site meetings and record minutes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Assist with project close-out and punch list completion
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Preferred: 4-year degree in Construction Engineering, Management, or related field
