We have associate dentist opportunities at Higginbotham Family Dental. Dr. Higginbotham and his associates offer mentor training to dentists that are joining right out of dental school. Whether you need a few weeks or a few months, we make sure you are set up for success with your patients. We have associate dentists opportunities for those graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.

Each dentist, while working for us, will have a full staff at the office and behind the scenes. We also have a full administrative support staff to hire, train, and implement all operational daily tasks. This allows our dentists to concentrate on patient care and providing patients with the best dental experience possible at each dental appointment.

Experienced Dentist Career Opportunities

We also have opportunities for experienced associate dentists looking for a new home. We have a team of experienced dentists that you can refer to, rely on for advice or a second opinion. Furthermore, we take care of all the insurance credentialing process and help you with getting licenses and continuing education. If you are a dentist that owns your own practice but are tired of the business side of managing, hiring, firing, payroll, ordering supplies and paying expenses, then we may be able to take that stress away by purchasing your clinic while leaving you in the office to still work with your patients and current staff.

The opportunities for our ideal future associate dentist candidate will have knowledge in treating patients for crowns, fillings, surgical extractions, root canals, bridges, partials, and dentures. Implant placement experience preferred but not required.

• Experience and knowledge of general dentistry procedures
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Active State Dental Board license in Tennessee and/or Arkansas
• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Dental Medicine/Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from an accredited dental program
• Experience in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, dental implants, or other specialized areas of dentistry is a plus
• Experienced dentist with familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is a plus
