Overview
Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologist to join our patient-centered and compassionate medical staff. NICU was established in 2012 and is a very robust, growing, and comprehensive program. Candidate must be a physician leader in areas of safety and quality.
Responsibilities- 19 Bed NICU, Certified Level III A
- Provide inpatient care to our NICU patients, supporting the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Serve as a consultant to the Newborn/Couplet Care service, local community hospitals, ERs, and clinics.
- Mentor and teach Residents & Medical Students, making a significant impact in the education and development of future healthcare providers.
- Participate in 24-hour shifts, totaling 120 shifts per year, offering a balanced work schedule with ample opportunity to thrive in your personal and professional life.
- We handle approximately 300 NICU admissions annually and support 1,900 deliveries per year with 17 LDR rooms.
- The Neonatal Nurse Practitioners program is expanding, underscoring our commitment to ongoing growth and investment in our NICU.
- State-of-the-art equipment and a multidisciplinary team, including Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Dietitians, and a Board-Certified Lactation Consultant, ensure that every patient receives comprehensive, quality care.
