NYTech’s College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor located at the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus.
ResponsibilitiesHelp develop Osteopathic diagnosis and treatment skills in preclinical and clinical students.
Assist students during hands‑on lab sessions.
Prepare materials for assigned lectures and labs.
Provide patient care in the NYITCOM Medical Clinic.
Mentor medical students throughout their medical school training.
Serve and/or chair committees to fulfill institutional and departmental needs.
Conduct scholarly research and guide students in scholarly activities.
Assist with OMM tutoring, review sessions, and early intervention sessions.
Other duties assigned for the department and/or college as the need arises.
- A D.O. degree from a COCA‑accredited college of osteopathic medicine or an M.D. degree from an LCME‑accredited college of medicine.
- Completion of an ACGME approved residency or equivalent board certification in the fields of Neuromusculoskeletal Manual Medicine (NMM), Osteopathic Manipulative Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Orthopedic Surgery or any field meeting the needs of the COM per the department chairperson.
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas State Medical License preferred.
