One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Automations to join our growing team in Jonesboro, AR. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge automation solutions that make a real impact for our clients. This position will be primarily dedicated to one customer so this person will build a working relationship with a local customer, but be employeed by One Shot Automation

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications
• Manage automation projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation hardware/software
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites
• Develop technical documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals
• Provide ongoing technical support and identify opportunities for process improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, motion control, or process control systems
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
• Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to travel to client sites locally and regionally as needed
