Job Duties- Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings.
- Develop drawings for fabricated parts, equipment layouts, manufacturing components, and architectural applications.
- Convert sketches, concepts, and specifications into accurate technical drawings.
- Modify and revise existing drawings to meet project requirements.
- Customize AutoCAD software through scripting, programming, or coding functions.
- Create CNC machine programs from CAD drawings and design files.
- Verify drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to support manufacturing and design objectives.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or certification in AutoCAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of AutoCAD programming or CAD drafting experience required.
- Experience creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings from concept sketches and specifications.
- Ability to independently revise and update existing designs.
- Experience converting CAD drawings into CNC machine programs.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD customization, scripting, or coding preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Stable work history with demonstrated job tenure.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to review detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Frequent use of computers, drafting software, and office equipment.
- Strong visual attention to detail and accuracy.
