NOW HIRING: PLANNER I
The City of Jonesboro is looking for a Planner I to join our Planning Department.
This position is an opportunity to build a career in municipal planning while helping shape the growth and development of Jonesboro. The Planner I assists with development applications, conditional use projects, subdivision plats, variances, zoning compliance, planning research, and coordination with City departments and boards.
What you'll do- Assist with development and zoning applications
- Review subdivision plats and planning projects
- Conduct research and analyze planning data
- Assist with inspections and zoning certificates
- Work with citizens, developers, City departments, and planning boards
- Support the City's ongoing planning and development efforts
A motivated individual with a high school diploma or GED, specialized education or training, and related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license is required.
