PHYSICAL THERAPIST – ST. BERNARDS MEDICAL CENTER

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and decrease or prevent deformity of patients suffering from disease or injury. The Physical Therapist will meet and abide by rules and regulations set forth by the Board.

• Must be licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice Physical Therapy. CPR certified.
• Experience and sound clinical skills with demonstrated good judgment.
• Knowledge of physical, mental, and social needs of the frail elderly population.
• Ability to problem-solve, plan effectively, and communicate orally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.

• Requires physical strength to perform essential functions: frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling up to 250 pounds, carrying up to 35 pounds, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to work the required schedule and have hearing within normal range.
