Position SummarySystems Analyst (System Administrator) is responsible for coordinating the design and/or modification of computer system process activities. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Duties & Responsibilities- Participating with team in system architecture decisions, management, implementation, and maintenance of physical servers, virtual servers, Cloud based systems, etc.
- Windows and Linux system automation, monitoring, backups, upgrades, patching, debugging and performance tuning.
- Integrations with Web Applications, APIs, and 3rd party integrations with ERP systems.
- Collaborate with network, security, application teams, and Campus constituents to support infrastructure needs.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, data security standards, and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
- Other duties as assigned

• Ability to diagnose issues and propose effective technical solutions
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly language
• Strong written and verbal communication for documentation and user support
• Experience working in agile/scrum environments
• Comfortable using tools like Jira, Trello, Asana
• Understanding of user experience (UX) principles
• Willingness to engage with users and stakeholders to improve applications
• Willingness to stay current with evolving web technologies
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and frameworks

The formal education equivalent of an earned bachelor s degree in computer science, computer applications, mathematics, or a related field
