Job TitleAssistant Community Manager (Full Time, Non Exempt)
CompensationHourly Rate, plus Benefits and Bonus eligibility
SummaryProvide comprehensive support in all aspects of community operations: sales, leasing, inventory analysis, budgeting and reporting, property management, rent collection, customer service, maintenance and administrative activities.
Responsibilities- Consistently achieve property occupancy goals.
- Create and implement monthly and annual marketing initiatives.
- Ensure daily completion of lead tracking and data entry.
- Assist in leasing tours, answer leasing phone calls and process online inquiries.
- Respond efficiently and courteously to all resident requests.
- Assist the Community Manager in designing and implementing resident retention programs such as newsletters, referral programs or social activities.
- Maintain inventory and order necessary administrative supplies and equipment for the maintenance department.
- Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property.
- Assist in lease audits when present at the community.
- Ensure community compliance with all regulations.
- Assist in interviewing, screening and hiring potential employees at the community.
- Assist in orientation, training and scheduling of all Team Members.
- Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations with regard to all office personnel.
- Seek educational opportunities and self‑improvement for personal growth and development.
- Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
- Thorough knowledge of leasing techniques and sales for conventional multifamily housing.
- Maintain a consistent level of professional customer service.
- Prior experience in multifamily housing and community relations preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of Cardinal Group policies, procedures and community policies.
- Excellent computer skills:
Microsoft Word and Excel. - Working knowledge of Yardi / Entrata and Pop Card preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between work sites.

Office environment; use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
Physical DemandsRegular use of hands to type and handle; frequent standing, walking, reaching; may lift up to 20 pounds. Routine local travel may be required; non‑routine overnight travel may be required for special projects.
