We are seeking energetic and highly motivated Process Technician to join our production team. This position is a key member of the process development, implementation and improvement teams focused on developing innovative processes, equipment, and tooling to accelerate RMP’s growth. You will have the opportunity to contribute to both process development and equipment improvement. A strong drive to learn new skills and acquire knowledge will enhance your ability to support production.
Job Responsibilities- Train and develop team members on applicable equipment and safety protocols.
- Identify manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to resolve ongoing production issues.
- Record equipment setup, changes, and major adjustments for tracking data and root‑cause analysis.
- Establish and maintain process parameters for manufacturing quality in finished product.
- Optimize process parameters for consistent output.
- Troubleshoot molding machine/tooling for processing problems.
- Identify problems and potential solutions to troubleshoot issues in both maintenance and production as they arise, through SPC or other data analysis.
- Support engineering activities including process and equipment validations.
- Document and present results of production and quality in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time on agreed targets, develop plans for own projects and lead small project teams.
- 3-5 years’ experience in blow molding.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, good organization, analytical and reasoning skills.
- Ability to work with others in a cross‑functional team environment. Following and training to both written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time‑sensitive analysis under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment with an emphasis in blow molding.
- Able to be hands‑on with equipment and tooling.
- Experience interpreting SPC, Process Capability, and Gauge R&R.
