Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care on a daily basis under the general supervision of the Director, Patient Care Manager, Assistant Patient Care Manager, and Registered Nurse in charge. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call‑back as required by the hospital.

• Provide direct patient care, monitoring, and assessment.
• Implement nursing interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Document and communicate patient status and interventions with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with patient education and support.

• Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
• Experience in perioperative or surgical nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and department policies, procedures, and patient care protocols.
• Proficiency in operating technical equipment as acquired through orientation.

• Normal hospital environment; exposure to biological hazards.
• Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors; close eye work.
• Hearing of normal and soft tones; ability to distinguish smells and temperatures by touch.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., carry up to 40 lbs., and push/pull up to 350 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
