Department: REP | CS North East Jonesboro

This position is located in Jonesboro, AR. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a specifically trained member of the clinic team. The LPN supports ongoing delivery of care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, works with patient, families, and providers to implement individual health plans, triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and patient education by telephone or within the UAMS Clinic.

Delivers nursing care according to standards set by UAMS, ANA, ASBN, and related organizations. Assists in developing the patient’s Plan of Care (POC) per clinic standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license by the State of Arkansas and Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One(1) year of clinical nursing experience or will consider a new grad with a current license and one year of previous medical experience (MA, PCT, CNA).
• Must have strong organizational skills and computer knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Immunization experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ambulatory experience.
• EPIC experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong clinical expertise and technique.
