We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our Air Pollution Control (APC) market share in the Northcentral area. This is a Business-to-Business sales position targeting executives, directors, engineers, contractors and end users in the industrial sector providing dust collection equipment and systems.
Compensation package includes a competitive base salary based on experience level, plus monthly commission based on sales for the month versus goals, a company vehicle, health, dental and prescription drug insurance options, and a company 401k plan.
SUMMARYSupplies Air Pollution Control and dust collection equipment to various industries. Our products clean factory air of dust, fumes and mist, making the workplace safer and more productive. The Territory Sales Manager position is responsible for territory-based sales of dust and mist collection equipment with a focus on attaining and exceeding sales goals through outbound prospecting calls and territory management.
OBJECTIVETerritory-based sales position selling air pollution control equipment via direct sales or reseller opportunities. The main objective is to grow sales in a sustainable and profitable manner and will report to the Regional Manager of the area.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop business for air pollution equipment in a given sales territory
- Develop rep/reseller, engineering firm and installing contractor base relationships for higher levels of business potential
- Manage company provided leads
- System design including coordination with manufacturers/vendors for system component selection and features
- Project management for turnkey sales and follow-through for equipment sales
- On-site system commissioning and customer training
- Business to business sales opportunities only
- Interact with customer base and build relationships with potential customers
- Provide support to resellers in territory made up of sales representatives, dealers, distributors and original equipment manufacturers
- Interact with other departments, working as a team to provide our customers with excellent service
- Positive attitude, sense of urgency, competitive
- Excellent time management skills
- Good verbal/language skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Prior industry experience
- Proficient with Microsoft products
- Comfortable, friendly and professional on the phone and in person
- Team-oriented self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment
