Heavy Equipment Field Technician; Q3

This role involves providing high-quality repair services on equipment to meet customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner, ensuring maximum value for work performed.

• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Use hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, instruments, and laptops.
• Understand manuals, schematics, parts books, and installation instructions.
• Maintain knowledge of engine and compressor systems.
• Troubleshoot system errors.
• Operate hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, laptops, diagnostic software, and cranes and rigging equipment.
• Complete jobs to meet flat rate times and metrics.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately complete paperwork and access databases (work orders, parts, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, BMTS).
• Adhere to contamination control and HAZMAT regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 years of related experience/training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals, and write routine reports.
• Mathematical skills for calculations involving measurements, percentages, areas, and volumes.
• Apply instructions from written, oral, or diagrammatic sources.
• Knowledge of database software, internet, and order processing systems.
• Clean driving record; at least 21 years old to operate field vehicles.
• May require DOT physical and MSHA certification.
• Flexibility to work various schedules.

Must meet physical demands such as standing, walking, handling, reaching, stooping, climbing, and vision requirements. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, weather, and noise. Travel up to 95%. This is a remote, safety-sensitive position.
