Job Summary
Assists the Director in the testing, preventative maintenance, and repair of certain electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Maintains safety inspection records as required.
Qualifications- High school graduate minimum, or graduation from VO-Tech / trade school completing technical coursework related to job requirements, including courses in electricity, electronics, mathematics, etc.
- Preferably six months of related experience; good applicants without experience will be considered.
- Physical:
This is a safety sensitive position. Must have normal hearing and color perception; capable of frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping; lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs. Must tolerate exposure to electrical/mechanical hazards and operate electronic test equipment, drills, saws, ladders, and safety inspection equipment. - This position requires adherence to St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy.
