The candidate must demonstrate expertise and mastery of teaching in each subject and all levels. To include but not limited to:

• Teach courses that include both teacher-focused and student-focused lessons;
• Promote student engagement to inspire and encourage progress while supporting and strengthening the learning capabilities of each participant;
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans to students on Standard Reading/Language & Math topics;
• Keep abreast of developments in the Reading/Language/Math field by reading current literature, attending relevant seminars/conferences/professional development opportunities;
• Maintain accurate, complete, and appropriate records and files;
• Maintain a healthy learning environment;
• Comply with all Clayton County Public Schools/Technical College Schools of Georgia protocols and regulations.

• Math
• Reading
• ESL

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.

Georgia Professional Standards Commission Teaching Certification preferred, but not required.
