Install Service Writer

• Takes orders for parts installations from customers, providing excellent customer service.
• Prepares estimated, quotes, parts lists, and work orders foreach customer job.
• Creates new customer accounts as required, inputting into computer with order numbers, customer information, tax information, and discounts.
• Orders parts from warehouse or outside vendors as needed, to complete customer orders, creating purchase orders when necessary.
• Manages parts inventories as needed.
• Collects deposits/payments, and invoices customer for completed work orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed.
• Previous customer service experience needed, with strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and organizational skills needed.
• Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.
• Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and aself-starter.
• Must have willingness to learn products sold, customer service, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole inorder to meet customer needs.

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching,stooping/kneeling, and bending. Position mainly will be sitting on raised chairbehind a counter. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also bepresent. Subject to heat/cold conditions when in the shop. Moderate use ofhands and arms will be needed for computer data entry, and eye strain could occur due to prolonged computer screen use.
