American Ramp Company is currently accepting applications for a Bike Park Designer who thrives in an environment of collaboration, demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail, and exhibits professional communication with clients via in-person, virtual, and email consultation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a design project Design and Design Development stages, followed by a handoff to Construction Documents or Project Management.Travel to project sites, meet with clients, obtain site information to better understand and more accurately design/estimate.Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and project teams. Foster positive relationships and facilitate communication to address concerns and ensure project success.Develop creative and functional conceptual design layouts in CAD.Think through civil considerations such as grading and drainage in the early planning stages.Utilize GIS data for trail design.Work through budgeting and cost estimation during various phases of design.Provide graphic plans and precedent imagery as part of the design process.Remain on schedule by managing weekly tasks and resources effectively.Observe and integrate best practices into everyday tasks.COMPETENCIES:

Degree in Landscape Architecture, CAD Drafting, or related field
SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:
AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch Up, QGIS, ARCGIS, Google Earth Pro, Adobe Creative Suite
SALARY: Starting at $50,000 depending on experience.
