The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, in Joplin, MO, is seeking a full-time, Primary Care Physician . Ideal candidate would be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with extensive women’s health experience. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

• Potential starting base salary range: $ 232K-250K
• Permanent full-time position
• Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

• Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits.
• Provides medical care encompassing acute and chronic medical conditions and all appropriate preventive care for both male and female veterans.
• Prescribes medications according to approved formulary, and in accordance with Federal and State Law.
• Orders diagnostic tests, medications, laboratory tests as medically relevant for each patient.
