I am seeking a Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on a locum basis. This role includes procedural work, clinic visits, and call coverage, with flexibility for weekend rotations.
Responsibilities:- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
- Perform procedures including:
- Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC/RHC)
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Participate in general and STEMI call coverage
- Respond to night calls (1 2 nights during 2-week rotation)
- Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and clinic support staff
- MD or DO
- Active Missouri license or IMLC
- Board Eligible
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Clinic: patients/day
- Procedures: 5 7 per day
- Open bill rate please submit competitive bids
- Weekend coverage: 4 5 days over a weekend period, 2 weeks/month
- EMR System: Epic
- On-call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Privileging: Emergency temps available; full credentialing takes 90 days
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions may be considered)
