Description:
The Solid Works/Autodesk Inventor Instructor role is an on-site position located at the Joplin Advanced Training and Workforce Center in Joplin, MO. The instructor will teach Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor courses, focusing on CAD modeling, drafting, and industry-relevant design practices.
This is a flexible Friday schedule: 4 hours, when our area partners need this training. Will work with your current work schedule to find the best fit. A great way to earn extra money while sharing your knowledge with others.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor, including 3D modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings.
- Experience applying CAD tools in engineering, manufacturing, or related design fields.
- Ability to design and deliver clear, structured instruction for diverse learners in the classroom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to learner-centered teaching.
- Organizational skills for managing course planning, grading, and documentation.
- Teaching or training experience in an academic or workforce setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with current industry standards, safety practices, and emerging CAD technologies.
