Purpose

AMI Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems. This includes network monitoring, scheduling, system maintenance, analysis, and maintaining accuracy of various AMI reports, as well as testing and implementation of enhancements to metering systems and any interfacing systems or applications.

Accountabilities
  • Maintain daily processes and retrieve metering data through the AMI systems that include Liberty’s Itron Openway headend, Itron’s UIQ headend system and IEE DM system.
  • Process and investigate IEE exceptions to fulfill the SAP open meter reading request in a timely manner. Troubleshoot meter interrogations and retrieval issues.
  • Analyze non-communicating endpoints to determine if field investigations are necessary.
  • Maintain the accuracy and quality of AMI network data, asset information and sync between SAP and AMI system.
  • Assist Operations personnel with meter task and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Work with Itron on support ticket issues to ensure the AMI systems are functioning at determined SLAs.
  • Preform test after upgrades to the systems to ensure the AMI system is working correctly.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma and 1+ years of experience with SAP
  • IT and Utility experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work overtime, including some weekends as needed.
  • Must have a above-average knowledge of PC-based computers.
