Medical Technologist Nights

Position: Medical Technologist Nights - Sign On Bonus Offered
Find your calling at Mercy!Performs and interprets analysis on patient specimens through the use of complex laboratory techniques. Provides medical staff with information to aid in patient diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:

Qualifications:

Medical Technologist I

• Experience:
  
  3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience Preferred
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Associate degree
• Preferred Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  MLT certification OR Bachelors degree, in a major that meets a certification agency's requirements OR Completion of a 50 week U.S. military medical laboratory training course

Medical Technologist II

• Experience:
  
  up to 3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent or certification eligible new MLS graduate
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree
• Certifications:
  
  Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification, through ASCP or equivalent

Medical Technologist II -

• Experience:
  
  Medical Field Experience Preferred
• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Enrolled in final year of a Clinical Laboratory Science Bachelor degree program
• Certifications:
  
  Must obtain certification within 1 year.
