Board Certified Behavior Analyst; BCBA

Summary

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will assist the Clinical Director, clients, and families in progressing toward specific goals. The BCBA performs functional behavior assessments, skill assessments, develops and monitors behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans, completes progress reports, records and analyzes data, conducts staff training, provides on‑site monitoring, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Services focus on individuals impacted by behavioral health issues, with trauma‑informed care and a dual recovery philosophy.

The BCBA reports to the Clinical Director of the Autism Center.

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Master’s degree in special education, psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active BCBA certification with the BACB.
• Current Missouri LBA license.
• Must be a resident of Missouri, Oklahoma, or Kansas.

• Supervise, coach, and perform intensive interventions with children with autism using applied behavior analysis methodology.
• Oversee the development, training, and implementation of plans to reduce challenging behavior.
• Conduct initial and ongoing normed and criterion‑based assessments.
• Analyze data and make treatment recommendations based on assessments.
• Provide monthly supervision for RBTs.
• Write reports as required.
• Deliver parent training and ongoing family support to each assigned family.
• Complete billing forms/documentation as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, stooping, and occasional team lifting to 200 pounds.
• Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
• Requires the ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours and deal with irate individuals.
• TB test upon hire.
