The MLT will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory science, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in areas such as hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, and blood bank.
Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, tissues, etc.) for analysis.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure quality control and assurance procedures are followed to maintain accurate and reliable test results.
Analyze and interpret laboratory test results.
Prepare and report findings to healthcare providers.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and procedures.
Adhere to laboratory safety and infection control protocols.
