The OpportunityYou will lead a passionate team dedicated to transforming lives and championing safety and community well‑being. Your role will drive innovation, launch impactful programs, and strengthen families and community engagement, aligning with the YMCA’s mission.
Qualifications- Accredited 4‑year college degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven fiscal management, with a track record of managing budgets over $1.5 million annually.
- Minimum seven years of senior management experience in a YMCA or comparable organization, including direct supervision of multiple staff levels.
- Proven ability to develop and strengthen community relationships.
- Experience creating innovative programs and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Strategic planning and fundraising experience, including annual campaigns and grant securing.
- YMCA Organizational Leader Certification or ability to obtain it within three years.
- Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan – collaborate with volunteers, community partners, and staff to create and execute a strategic plan with measurable goals.
- Position the YMCA as a Vital Partner – serve as a trusted ambassador, building relationships with city leaders, schools, businesses, donors, and partner organizations.
- Improve Operating Performance – partner with the Board and staff to develop an annual operational plan, ensuring efficiency and high‑quality service.
- Build and Lead Staff – foster an inclusive culture, support hiring, onboarding, and professional development, and maintain clear accountability.
- Cause‑Driven Leadership – advance community‑driven initiatives and ensure alignment with the YMCA’s mission.
- Fiscal Management – demonstrate strong leadership through forecasting, budgeting, and financial stewardship.
Salary Range: $80,000 – $118,000 annually
- YMCA Retirement (9% Y, 3% employee) once eligibility is met
- YMCA 403B savings account, 100% employee contribution
- Health plan (75% Y, 25% employee)
- Paid Time Off (PTO) as defined in personnel policy
- Additional benefits per personnel policy
