Production Coordinator

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. designs and fabricates high quality pressure vessels and heat transfer equipment for the power generation and process industries worldwide. The Production Coordinator role is a key member of our project execution team that enables TEi to meet its contractual obligations and financial forecasts.

• Print out weekly shop schedules and deliver to the shop floor supervisors.
• Utilize a two‑week lookahead to inform supervisors of upcoming tasks that need to be completed within the next two weeks.
• Monitor project progress of all projects, especially high‑value and high‑priority projects.
• Communicate any project changes that may affect the project schedule and shop capacity with Production Control Team.
• Coordinate with various support functions that may be delaying production (e.g., quality, purchasing, engineering, tool room, etc.) and report back to Production Planning Supervisor.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in related field required.
• Knowledge of material movement or material flow preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Flexibility in schedule, initiative, willingness to learn, maintain effective and professional interaction with all levels.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
• Must have some scheduling knowledge and experience reading and reporting schedule progress in either MS Project of Primavera (P6).
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding processes and manufacturing a plus.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus.
