AJM was originally founded as a distributor of commercial paper, plastic and foil packaging products and related cleaning, janitorial and order processing supplies and equipment by three brothers operating out of a small warehouse in Detroit’s Eastern Market. In 1957 they built and moved into larger quarters on Detroit’s southwest side, where they began manufacturing their own products for the first time.
Over the decades, AJM evolved from distributor to a major paper products manufacturer, employing nearly 3,000 people and operating eight manufacturing and five warehouse/distribution facilities across the United States. AJM remains family owned, manufactures in the USA, and continues to provide reliable service and quality products built on a “can do” attitude.
