Sanitation Technician

Position Summary

Ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of production equipment and adjacent areas, following approved sanitary methods. Train new associates and assist others to meet on‑time startup schedules.

• Train new sanitation workers.
• Use appropriate chemical solutions to achieve the highestליך sanitation of equipment.
• Follow all safety precautions while performing duties.
• Complete assigned projects on time.
• Clean equipment with hot water hoses and high‑pressure soap hoses, temperatures up to 160 °F.
• Lift, carry, push or pull parts or equipment weighing up to 100 lbs or more.
• Climb ladders to clean spirals or machinery.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack or manlift where licensed.
• Tear down equipment and assist production in reassembling the line.
• Handle soaps and other cleaning compounds that may be toxic if misused.
• Assist wherever needed to ensure on‑time startups.
• Operate in plant temperatures averaging 50 °F.
• Wear required PPE: hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and company‑provided aprons.

• Report all injuries, unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and horseplay.
• Use proper lifting techniques.
• Utilize mechanical assistance (hand jack, forklift, manlift).
• Seek personal assistance (buddy).
• Follow handrail usage.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• People and leadership skills.
• Computer literate.
• Manlift, forklift, and pallet jack certified.
• Ability to work overnight shifts.
• Willingness to complete CGMP, HACCP, SSOP, safety, and equipment trainings.
• Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment requiring hand‑eye coordination.
• Constant standing/walking required.
• Occasional stair climbing.
• Ability to work 富利 wet and cold temperatures.
