About Us – Cardiac Cath
- The Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) is designated by the state of Missouri as a level I STEMI center and provides specialized diagnostic and interventional services for adults. Procedures include cardiac and peripheral diagnostics and revascularizations, electrophysiology studies, structural heart procedures, and vascular embolization.
- Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, extended hours until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- On‑call critical care/emergency services are available 24/7 with a required 20‑minute staff response time. The call team includes a cardiologist, RN circulators, cath‑lab technologists, and special procedure technologists.
What You’ll Do
In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently perform systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families. Plan and implement appropriate interventions; evaluate effectiveness, and adjust plans as indicated in a timely manner to provide safe and effective care.
Requirements
- Current Missouri registered nurse license or current registered nurse license from a compact state (held in the nurse’s state of residence).

- Minimum of 1 year high acuity ICU or ER experience.
