RN – Med Surg (Night Shift)

Location:

Lee's Summit, MO

Assignment Duration: 13‑week contract position

Schedule:

Shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM; weekend shifts required, with a commitment of 2 shifts per month

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. The nurse will be responsible for delivering quality patient care in a 36‑bed unit, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The unit utilizes Meditech as the EMR system and is equipped with Alaris Pumps and wound vacs.

• Provide nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Current RN license in the state of Missouri
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
