RN - TELE

The Medical/Surgical Nurse will be responsible for providing excellent patient care in a 36-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 for both day and night shifts. This role includes utilizing advanced medical equipment such as Dynamap, telemetry, and Alaris IV pumps while ensuring effective documentation using the Meditech system.

• Perform bedside shift reports and hourly safety rounds with patients.
• Utilize AIDET and establish personal connections with patients.
• Provide care within competencies, floating to ortho or telemetry units as needed.

• Time management skills and IV start skills are required.
• Patient experience skills are essential.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIH Stroke Scale Certified.
• Advanced skills needed, but procedures requiring conscious sedation are not performed on unit.
