Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years OR experience and a Missouri or compact RN license.

• Active RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or current MO/compact license
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required, 4+ years highly preferred
• No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

• Work in an 11-room OR Complex within a hospital setting
• Surgical patient population with 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilizes Stryker equipment
• Charts in EPIC EMR
• Weekend day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule,
• Required to work every weekend
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Float and call requirements as needed by facility
• Utilize the nursing process to provide and coordinate patient care across departments
• Maintain professional accountability and evaluate care provided by other caregivers
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with facility standards
• Ceil blue scrubs supplied for this role
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with client-approved exemptions only
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted; those within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced bill rate and limited to 3 consecutive 13-week local contracts before requiring a 1-year separation or transfer outside the radius
