As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Sector in Joplin, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and support access control measures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping in mind the unique needs of a technology-focused location.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control at designated points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
