Konza is seeking a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Part‑Time WIC Clerk to join our team. This position works closely with other WIC staff to provide timely and accurate services to families enrolled in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. WIC offers low‑income families nutrition education, screenings and referrals, breastfeeding support, and healthy foods.
Key Responsibilities- Greet clients and visitors in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner, creating a welcoming environment.
- Explain WIC services and program requirements to clients.
- Complete client screening and appointment intake; schedule appointments per WIC policies.
- Create, verify, and update client information in KWIC; document all interactions.
- Collect height, weight, and blood work data and enter into KWIC.
- Assist with nutrition education activities and outreach.
- Issue and maintain security for electronic WIC cards.
- Provide breastfeeding counseling, promotion, and support as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and orderly waiting area and ensure confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Perform clerical duties including phone support, ordering supplies, and distributing letters.
- Complete required training, civil rights education, and time studies.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- 1‑2 years’ experience in customer service, patient services and/or a clinical setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Part‑Time:
Up to 20 hours per week (3 days per week).
