The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the Service Center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for put away. The position requires operators to work up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation operators duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems, including use of computer logs and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery.

All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate.

$21.00/hour (paid bi‑weekly)

Monday – Thursday, 11 am – 9:30 pm (2nd Shift) with a $1.00/hour shift differential.

• Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center, including swing reach truck, reach truck, order picker, and any other machines as needed.
• Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at the beginning of shift and at full capacity, checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in a distribution facility, maneuvering equipment around tight corners, staging areas, and pedestrian traffic in a safe manner.
• Perform routine inspections on assigned equipment, refer defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team, and keep equipment clean.
• Follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Read, write, operate RF and print/print device, conduct business‑related mathematics and analyze data as required.
• Report problems to supervisor, manager, safety director or HR manager.
• Follow daily procedures and protocols as set forth in job orientations and trainings.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Strong physical stamina: required to stand, walk, and occasionally kneel, stoop, and lift weights ranging from 0–25 lbs constantly, 25–40 lbs occasionally and >40 lbs seldomly; move up to 40 lbs at least 25 ft occasionally.
• Must meet certification and operating requirements for machines, including OSHA and harness regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written English, essential for safety instructions and emergency response.
• Flexible to occasionally work at other locations with differing physical demands.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of previous equipment operations experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in speaking and understanding English.
