Industrial & Commercial Construction Foreman

KBS is recruiting for an Industrial & Commercial Construction Foreman! We are looking for a candidate who is capable of performing, overseeing, and/or coordinating activities of employees and subcontractors that handle minor maintenance and engineering tasks as well as carpentry, fabrication, welding, and equipment setting. This is a working foreman position that will coordinate subcontractors as necessary and lead and work alongside KBS employees.

The work environment of this position will typically be in an industrial setting.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

* Capable of performing layout, reading blueprints, assigning duties, planning the next tasks, inspections, timekeeping, and making sure materials and tools are available for the crews as directed by the superintendent.

* Executes tasks and activities as directed and in accordance with plans and specifications provided by the superintendent.

* May be responsible for reporting the crew's daily production and assisting the superintendent with production goals, solving problems, and task planning.

* Provides on-the-job training for company apprentices.

* Ensures compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent's task plans.

* Coordinates with other trades on jobsite to ensure job schedules are met.

* Fosters a positive attitude within the crew.

* Watches for compliance with safety policies.

* Keeps jobsite clean and free of debris as needed for a safe environment.

* Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the superintendent.
