Location:
Juneau, AK, situated on the SE Alaska coast.
2. Coverage:
Outpatient coverage with rotating on-call shifts.
3. Patient Load:
Approximately 8-10 patients per day.
4. Time Allotments:
Initial evaluations have 90-120 minutes, while follow-up appointments have 30 minutes.
5. Inpatient Unit Coverage:
Rotating call coverage for the inpatient unit, involving one weekend per month and 1-2 nights per week.
6. Licensing:
Alaska offers a temporary/locum license for the position.
7. EMR System:
The practice uses the Meditech EMR system.
8. Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly compensation, expenses, and Occurrence Form Professional Liability coverage are provided by Ascend Medical.
