Summary
Are you a passionate and driven alumni engagement officer? Do you possess a strong, donor‑centric understanding of advancement? Do you enjoy working with others, planning and implementing events and other strategic projects? If so, the University of Alaska Southeast is seeking an energetic, strategic thinker to join the newly named Office of Advancement as its Alumni Relations Manager.
This role serves as the primary alumni engagement officer for the University of Alaska Southeast. You will interact with internal development and university colleagues, and the UA Foundation, to activate an already interested alumni demographic while building a culture of philanthropy across the three campuses.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, friends, donors, and students.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement alumni events and strategic projects that enhance engagement and fundraising.
- Attend annual educational training with nationally recognized institutions to further alumni engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with internal development and university colleagues to integrate alumni activities with broader university goals.
- Manage a clean driver’s record and obtain an Alaska State driver’s license as required.
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.
The position is located on the University of Alaska Southeast campus in Juneau. It is a full‑time, exempt staff position, graded at UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.
