Palmer Jr Middle School is looking for a building substitute!
We believe our building subs are some of the most important staff members. Building substitutes have the unique ability to contribute to every classroom in our school. They provide a consistent and familiar presence for students, helping them continue their learning when teachers are absent.
Building substitutes work daily at one school. If there are no scheduled positions, they assist around the school for the day. If a Building Sub does not have a job scheduled 7 days in advance, they are automatically assigned to open Classroom Teacher or Classroom Support positions. Building Subs do not substitute for Food Services or Custodial Services.
Building Substitute Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree or an Alaska Teaching Certificate is PREFERRED but not required.
