The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Southcoast Region Construction is looking for an Engineer/Architect 2/3 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
BASE SALARY INFORMATION
Engineering/Architect 2: $4234.40 / biweekly
Engineering/Architect 3: $4853.60 / biweekly
What you will be doing:
Engineer/Architect 2
Under the direction of the Southcoast Region Construction Group Chief, this position acts as a Construction Project Manager for regional capital improvement projects. Projects may include Roads, Bridges, Airports and Marine Facilities. As a Construction Project Manager, this position will act in responsible charge of assigned Construction Projects by supervising and directing a staff of subordinate engineers and technicians to assure that small to medium-scale construction projects conform to contract plans and specifications, applicable state and federal requirements, and within budgetary constraints.
Engineer/Architect 3
Under the direction of the Southcoast Region Construction Group Chief, this position acts as a Construction Project Manager for regional capital improvement projects. As Construction Project Manager, this position will independently supervise and direct a staff of subordinate engineers and technicians to assure that large scale construction projects conform to contract plans and specifications and to applicable state and federal requirements and are completed within budgetary constraints.
