The Division of Investments in the State of Alaska is looking for a Loan Closer/Processor to work onsite in Juneau Headquarters Office. The position is a flex role, starting at Level 1 with the opportunity to advance to Level 2 without reapplying.

As a Loan Closer/Processor you will:

• Turn loan approvals into action, guiding borrowers through final steps with precision and care
• Ensure loan terms, agreements, interest rates, and closing costs are correct and transparent
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing borrower inquiries and guiding them through the closing process
• Support the efficient operation of our closing functions with professionalism, integrity, and continuous improvement

• Learning:

• Attention to Detail:
  Perform work thoroughly and conscientiously
• Problem Solving:
  Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and make sound recommendations

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Six months of experience performing a variety of office clerical assignments of average difficulty
• Post‑secondary coursework may substitute for experience per the specified equivalency chart

• Copies of your three most recent performance evaluations or professional reference letters.
• Three current professional references with supervisory contact information.

This position is flexibly staffed and may be filled at either Level 1 or Level 2 depending on training and experience. Promotion to Level 2 occurs after successful completion of the probationary period, required training, and meeting higher class qualifications.
