Summary:

Goldbelt, Inc. is in search of a Payroll Specialist. Performs tasks to maintain employee records and pay employees. Duties include the checking and auditing of timecards for compliance, reviewing new hire information as it relates to payroll into accounting and payroll systems, posting changes in pay and tax status, processing routine labor and payrolls for the company’s weekly, and bi-weekly multi-state payrolls.

Removing terminated employees from systems. Download standard payroll reports and run custom reports as required.

• Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes a proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or 2-3 years of payroll processing experience
• Ability to pass an employment background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using ADP Workforce Now preferred
• Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense a plus
• Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
• Previous government contracting experience
• ADP Time and Attendance experience a plus

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $70,000 annually.
