Job SummaryThe Computed Tomography Technologist I (CT Tech I) is a journey level position performing under direct supervision of the Senior CT Technologist. The incumbent has completed an accredited technologist program, obtained ARRT Certification, and is learning techniques, procedures, and imaging equipment for CT exams. They also begin working towards obtaining their CT Certification.
The Computed Tomography Technologist II (CT Tech II) performs independently the full range of CT exams, evaluates images, and may mentor lower level CT Techs.
Minimum QualificationsCT Technologist I ($37.18 - $44.61/hour)
- Completion of an accredited technologist program.
- Six months of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Current ARRT registration;
Alaska Fluoroscopy Users certification within one month of hire.
- Graduation from an accredited technologist program.
- One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist I or six months as a CT Technologist.
- Current ARRT registration and CT Certification;
Alaska Fluoroscopy Users certification within one month of hire.
Internal hires:
Pay rate determined by personnel rule or union contract.
