Overview

Senior Business Analyst at Data Resource Technologies
. Elicit, analyze, and document requirements, determine system impact and software configuration, and collaborate with customers and internal teams throughout development, testing, and implementation.

• Elicit, maintain, and translate business requirements from customer needs into technical requirements for custom software solutions.
• Work with project teams to document standards, project deliverables, and requirements.
• Collect information through interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual information.
• Document technical and business processes/workflows in narrative and diagrammatic forms following Resource Data, client, and industry standards and guidelines.
• Create test and validation plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

• 5+ years of experience on structured software engineering teams writing business cases, gathering requirements, developing user stories, and writing test documentation for custom software and COTS software development projects.
• 5+ years of experience with technical writing for audiences such as Software Engineers, System Administrators, or other IT and business professionals.
• Ability to build rapport and earn trust with client teams.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
• Experience directly with customers in a consulting role.
• Familiarity with government agencies.
• Certifications:
  
  IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional, Technical Writing Certification, PMI - Agile.
